Hyrum turned one! He had a pretty laid back birthday. Nothing real extravagant. We went to Grannie and Pops' house and had a little family party. We had Papa Murphy's pizza, peach cobbler, and Blue Bell Ice Cream. Hyrum got enough books to start a new library. My favorite is
Slim and Miss Prim.
Some people think that Slim and Miss Prim is a love story.
And that is true.
But it is way more than that.
It is a much-needed lesson in how to escape from rustlers and kidnappers.
I simply love it. It is delightful. I hope my kids learn to love books as much as I do.
I can't believe he is a year! Sounds like a perfect birthday to me!
