Our Story

Once upon a time there was a little girl...

 ...and a little boy.

The little boy grew up and went on a mission to Philadelphia.

And then he came home and tried to find his wife (he didn't realize that his wife was only 10 years old).  He went to BYU and waited...and waited...and waited...but she did not come.  And so he waited...and went to Texas A&M and waited...and waited...

...and waited...

...and waited...

Meanwhile, the little girl was growing up.  She went to high school and graduated top of her class.  She was in no rush to find a husband.

The little boy, who was still waiting...and waiting...and waiting...decided to become an EFY counselor.  "Those EFY counselors are pretty cute" he thought, "and just my type."

The little girl was thinking the same thing..."Those EFY counselors are pretty cute, and just my type."  [She did think this, but not seriously.]

And so, the little boy and the little girl found themselves together in that wonderful place we call Nauvoo.

The little girl thought, "That is the kind of guy I want to marry eventually, but he is too old."  The little boy thought, "Wow.  She's a neat girl.  But I'm her counselor!  But next week I won't be, and next week she'll be going to school at ASU and all those returned missionaries are going to be chasing after her..."

And so after EFY was over and the little boy was no longer the little girl's counselor, they started talking on Facebook...and then on the phone...

It didn't take long for them to know.

So the little boy came out to visit.  And the little boy said, "Will you marry me?" on their very first date.  And the little girl said, "Yes!" and then had a panic attack but she eventually got over it.

The little boy (grateful to be done waiting...and waiting...and waiting) and the little girl were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple on January 2, 2010.

They became Eternally Brown.

On April 19, 2011, another little boy, Hyrum, joined the Eternally Brown Family.

And the little boy and the little girl absolutely adore their little boy.

On June 15, 2013, a little girl, Lindi Beth, joined that little family.

And that little girl is adored, let me tell ya.

The end.  For now.
