Slackers
I wish we could say we are slackers...that we lie around eating delicious green enchiladas and peanut butter cookies all day while watching movies...but I can't...
We eat green enchiladas once a week (not including leftovers) because they're so good--Tony's favorite. I made peanut butter cookies last week. We definitely ate too many but I did exercise some restraint and sent a large portion of them with Tony to church. The young men finished them off. We do like movies and bought some really awesome ones at Blockbuster for very cheap, but we don't watch them everyday. We watch them maybe only once a week, if that...
We've been so busy! I'm taking 18 credits this semester and they're not easy classes. Tony is still looking for a job. This includes job fairs, luncheons, and workshops, as well as filling out millions of online applications. I'm still working at the hospital...not much, but a couple hours a week so that I can keep my job and so we can have a little bit of income. Tony has also been called as the 1st counselor in the Young Men's Presidency in our ward. He is so excited. We both attended multiple activities for youth conference this past weekend and we really enjoyed it...
Although we're busy, we still do our best to have fun. We love to hike. We've tried out a few new trails and have really enjoyed the physical activity it affords us. It also gives us a great chance to talk. We also went and fed the ducks at the park near the church. "Seriously?" you say. Seriously! It was so fun. Ducks are weird little animals...
Pictures to come shortly! Until then...back to the enchiladas...

64 Things We're Thankful For
"It frustrates me that..."
"I hate how..."
"I wish..."
We've been married 5 weeks and 2 days and life couldn't be greater. Why are we complaining?! Well...as much as I hate to admit it, Tony and I threw ourselves a pity party yesterday. As we made dinner and ate we took turns venting our frustrations and expressing those things we wish were different. It was a good day for a pity party. Do you know why? It's because Monday night is Family Home Evening night! So, after we cleaned up dinner our itty bitty family sat down in our itty bitty family room for FHE #6. We sang Hymn #4 "Truth Eternal" and had an opening prayer and then had a most wonderful lesson on faith. As we discussed our faith in our Heavenly Father, faith that he would bless us with those things that we need I realized the mistake we had made. We had so much to be thankful for and we were throwing a pity party! How could we expect the Lord to bless us with more when we weren't thanking Him for what He had already blessed us with. So we made a list of...
