Does anyone have luck with a particular brand of pants in this regard?
On the bright side, this boy sure knows how to play! He can't get enough of it. It's not a rare thing for him to cry at the end of the day because "the day was too short and I wasn't done playing!" I'm so grateful that we are going to homeschool and he can learn as he plays! He's been playing tornado ever since we learned about them and he often reteaches me about them as he does so.
My sister in law's sons rip through the knees of their pants all the time, too. She now buys Sears store brand jeans. From what I understand they have a no-questions-asked policy where they will replace any pair of torn jeans with a new pair...(of course they have to be the same size) I am not sure of the specifics, but probably worth looking into!
