Family Pictures 2014

I'm kinda partial to our little family.  I think we're pretty neat.

My husband is the bestie best.  He loves me no matter what.  He knows when to spoil me and when to stick to our goals and get us out of debt.  He loves wrestling with our kiddos.  He is so good at taking the time to teach them important lessons.  I love him.

Hyrum is a hoot.  I love the stage he is in now.  He is learning so much so quickly and I feel like I hardly have to help him along.  He loves being a Primary boy and he sits so reverently and quietly.  He is silly and fun and keeps us laughing all the time.

Little Miss Lindi is learning how to talk more and more every day.  She loves little babies and is going to be quite the big sister.  She loves her "Hyru" and can give the sweetest hugs or be the biggest pest.

I love our family.

Double Christmas

There was fun waiting for us in Texas when we got back home after our trip to Arizona.  The Browns and Goodwins had presents waiting for us.

Husband got to open his quilt I had very secretively made for him out of old BYU t-shirts.  I was pleased as punch that he hadn't any idea I had done this.

We enjoyed spending a couple of days with the Browns and Goodwins and wish the Goodwins didn't have to leave so soon!

Jump Street

Santa sent a letter to Grannie's house.  Because we had to drive home on Christmas Day, he and his elves were going to come a day early!  That meant that Christmas Eve came on the 23rd.  We spent our Christmas Eve at Jumpstreet.  We had loads of fun.  Uncle Bryton did some pretty sweet flips.  I laughed because all their signs around the place said they did not recommend pregnant women to jump.  I soon realized this was a bladder related issue.  Oh well... it was still fun to hang with my family and enjoy my kids enjoying themselves.

P.S.  I really love that guy above.

Grannie's Cute Dishwasher

Life doesn't get much better than taking a bath in Grannie's kitchen sink.

Mesa Temple Lights

I'm glad that we didn't miss the Mesa Temple Lights when we went back home to visit.  It was fun to take the kiddos.

My favorite part is the international nativity display.  This year my favorites were the nativities from India and the Hopi Indians.

I'm so grateful for the birth of our Savior and for His Atonement.

Aunties and Uncles, Grannie and Pops

The best part of Arizona was the Shinkles.  Hands down.  My kids loved loved loved hanging out with their aunties and uncles.  I couldn't get enough of Grannie and Pops.

Hyrum and Hayden built and played with these race tracks (Hayden's Christmas gift from 2013) all day long for days.  No lie.

Trips to the park are always enjoyable when it's been too cold for the park in Texas for weeks.

I love love love my family!  It was our first time all together in two years.  What a reunion!  I can't wait to be together again.

Late Night Bowl

One of our first nights in Arizona, we put the kids to bed and the big kids went out to play-- my dad, Bryton, Keila, Sydney, Husband, and I.  It was unlimited bowl from 9pm to midnight.  We had such a fun time.  I slowly improved my score throughout the night.  Husband bowled his best game ever!

Dallas Temple Nativity

My husband and father-in-law designed and built the stable for the nativity at the Dallas temple.  I'm pretty proud of it.  Fifteen years from now I'll be able to see it and say "My boys built that!"

36 hours in the car

We took two pictures to record our 36 hours in the car on the way to and from Arizona.  I find them an appropriate representation.
